The Dawning of the Isaac Promises

”Clear the decks and get ready for action” came loud and clear as the New Year unfolded before us. This came through an ex US marine who has been working on a “God project” for many years and sensed in his spirit the time of destiny had drawn near. The preparation time (boot camp) was over and now the real fun begins – action!
Last week another word came loud and clear that the “dawning of the Isaac promises” had come. We have all experienced many Ishmaels in our preparation season and have learned valuable lessons about what not to do and how not to operate, but now is the time for the unfolding or dawning of the promises of God for each of our lives. This is the Isaac promise that will birth the fullness of our individual (and therefore corporate) calling and release us firmly into the birthright assigned to us.
The recent release of Shawn Boltz’s new book, “Keys to Heaven’s Economy, An Angelic Visitation from the Minister of Finance” (www.streamsministries.com) also seems to confirm the season. One of the key factors I saw in the book is that God has already (before the foundation of the world) set aside the provision for each of His promises to us in a storehouse. This storehouse, although in heaven, is accessed through worship and the “calling forth from the earth” of the resources and finances made available for us. This seems to me to mean that God has placed the finances and resources in the earth in places that we do not know (yet), but that as we worship Him in spirit and in truth, He releases the angels to loose or reveal where these are. Jesus instructs us in Matthew 16:19 “And I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Herein is a most powerful key to our financial resources reserved in the spirit realm and accessed in the earth realm. There is no distinction between these realms with God. Both are one as He is omnipresent (in all things), omnipotent (all powerful), and omniscient (all knowing).
God knows what He has prepared us for, He knows what resources and finances we need and He knows how we can access them. He is now revealing the keys for us to access these so that we can partner with Him to bring the reward to His Son Jesus.
Ephesians 1:16 and17: …the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of our understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of His inheritance in the saints”
These powerful verses speak of revealing to us His calling for each of us and the riches of His inheritance that are reserved for us. In God’s majesty and sovereignty He has declared to each of us our “Isaac promise” and issued an invitation to worship Him through His Son, Jesus Christ, that we may receive all that we need to fulfill His calling for us. It is this invitation that the enemy wants to steal and blind our eyes to the truth that God has prepared us and the resources to accomplish His promise to us. He is faithful to deliver what He has placed in us:
Isaiah 66:9, “Shall I bring to the time of birth (dawning) and not cause delivery?” says the Lord. “Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?” says our God.
The Isaac promise for each of us is set in stone. It is an oath that God cannot deny Himself to provide when we yield to His preparation and surrender all to Him. The Ishmaels of our past revealed the selfishness in our hearts that God has had to remove by the refining fire of the wilderness and seclusion with Him. As we have sought Him, drawing near to Him in a greater measure He has been faithful to draw near to us to burn up all that is not of Him. Every month or two I lay all the plans I am working on, on the altar before Him and ask Him to remove all that is not of Him. This surrender of all has shown me that His ways are far greater than mine and that I must learn to seek Him in every part of my life and business, no matter how small.
So the instruction to clear the decks and get ready for action brings us great excitement that God is bringing us to that place of action – first the dawn, then the birth and then the growth of the promises He has spoken over us. It is a time to war like we have never warred before, which is why we see a corporate gathering taking place. There can be no lone rangers.
The picture I got when I heard the decks were to be cleared was one of everyone rushing to their assigned place that they had been prepared for and preparing their weapons of warfare ready for an engagement with the enemy. At this time of dawning and birthing, we must be awake and alert with much diligence in order to protect the promise of God for our lives. Putting on the whole armor of God and taking the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:13-18), we speak forth the promises of God with the faith of our Lord and stand firmly on His promises to us. The enemy must flee before us as be take the land back from him.
Let us pray:
Gracious Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your Son, to declare the promises You have made to us to bring forth Your plans and purposes in the Earth. We loose the resources and finances from the Earth so that You may loose and reveal them in the heavens. We receive all that You have stored up for us at this time to further Your kingdom and prepare the reward for Jesus, our Lord. We thank you for preparing us, and the resources and finances, by Your grace and receive them as Your stewards “in the name of Jesus Christ” for Your use and Your use only. In faith we declare that You will birth everything that You have planted in us for Your glory and that You are our sun and shield, giving us grace and glory as You have promised to withhold nothing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). Lord, we thank You for connecting us together corporately to fulfill our calling and glorify You Father, in the name of our Lord and King, Jesus Christ. Amen.
