The Winds of Change have blown – It is time to Rule.

Since my last post New Zealand has been hit with floods caused by two Cyclones (hurricanes), numerous earthquakes, and the resignation of our Prime Minister. During this time my wife and I were travelling to research my Māori heritage in the north of New Zealand for a week and then to visit family and friends in South Africa for nearly three weeks. Our travels were governed by Holy Spirit as we sought clarity on my identity and Yolinda’s heritage that was affected by the Boer War and the involvement of New Zealand forces during that conflict. The results were significant.
What I have discerned is that Father is asking us to have a better understanding of our heritage and how He has knitted us together as individuals. Bringing together Māori and Pakeha in me so I could better understand my role in the future governance of New Zealand as part of the ONE Party (www.oneparty.net). With many South Africans in New Zealand, the healing between our nations needs to happen so we can move on in the joint destiny we have to build the House of the Lord.
On a spiritual level, I believe Jesus is preparing the legislative governing arm of His Kingdom, the Ekklesia (remnant church), for the increasing conflict we are in against the ever-darkening evil of the world’s system. It seems important to Him to reveal our human lineage for an understanding of His covenant promises to a thousand generations (Deut 7:9 and Psalm 105:8). These covenant promises include the dominion mandate given in Genesis 1:26 and recommissioned in Matthew 28:19 to disciple all nations and therefore govern the Earth as God’s stewards and guardians.
Revival has recently broken out in some American Universities, and we are also seeing the revival fires in other nations. I believe it is a demonstration of God’s love for the younger generation, as foretold by the Prophet Joel in chapter 2 verses 28 & 29
28 …. I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.
29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
We are in “those days” when the Kingdom of God is releasing demonstrations of God’s nature and His goodness. As individuals are saved, delivered, and filled with Holy Spirit this will cause major shifts in the culture and great shakings will increase. The convulsions that are being experienced all over the world, both in the natural and world systems, are because the light of Jesus and the holiness and righteousness of His Kingdom are invading Earth. The repercussions are great turmoil as the darkness recoils from this blazing fire of truth.
The New Season
This is the new season we are experiencing, and it is wonderful to see so many of you stepping up to your positions of authority and responsibility, ready for the assignments ahead. We are all destined to be here at this time and Father has chosen us to be here to fulfil our part. Nothing can stop what God is doing as Heaven invades Earth through His faithful people. One of my recent assignments was to write an economic report for Family First NZ called: “The Value of Family. Fiscal Benefits of Marriage and Reducing Family Breakdown in New Zealand”. One of my close colleagues was asking the Lord what he could do in this new season and the question came back clear – ‘Are you one of the ruling elders in the church?’ To which he humbly replied, ‘Yes’. Then the Lord spoke these words “Then RULE!”
Jesus has given us authority (exousia) to rule and power (dunamis) to reign through the decrees we speak. Angels that are assigned to us take those decrees (words of God) and action them in the Earth realm.
Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,…”
I want to encourage you to stand strong, put on the whole armour of God and use the weapons of our warfare with boldness. It is time to come into agreement, releasing faith to move the mountains of evil and see the Lord have His reward – the nations!
As many of you know, New Zealand has an election on 14th October this year. Already there is a groundswell of alternatives to the current establishment with voices crying out for Truth and Justice. One of the most significant events I have experienced happened last week in the Intercessors Aotearoa meeting (www.intercessorsaotearoa.nz). The truths sung in the long version of our national anthem, “God Defend New Zealand”, are being carried by angels to release the sound of Heaven into the ground of New Zealand. We believe peoples hearts will be stirred in the next seven months and we will see a supernatural move of God in our nation.
